Just to make your life a little bit easier, I've created an exhaustive list of all of the places I've recommended in the Seattle entries. 1. Now, now, don't hurt your tastebuds at Seattle's Best or Charbucks. There is seriously good coffee to be had in Seattle. Even daily cuppings or fresh roasted direct trade, super high quality coffees. Check out, Stumptown's roaster on 12th, they have daily cuppings at 3pm. Or Cafe Vivace, they are espresso specialists, founded by David Schomer a bit of a god in the west-coast espresso scene. Amazing espresso. Their location at 227 Yale Ave is great. And if you love fun places to shop it is right across the street from REI!! There are also multiple locations of Cafe Victrola, Cafe Vita, two more formidable Seattle roasters.

Start drinking quality coffee it will change your life and you be wary to step foot in a starbucks again... Not because you're a snob, but because you will have tasted something seriously good and will need to go back for more!

Lots more great coffee in Portland, San Fran, London (while you are there check out Square Mile!!) and of course Vancouver!

  2. Thanks for the tips! As someone who doesn't actually drink coffee herself, it's hard for me to know what makes a truly good coffee establishment. Your input is much appreciated :)
